Disabled dating in Gloucestershire
From Gloucester and Cheltenham to Stroud, Cirencester, Tewkesbury and the Forest of Dean, meet disabled singles across Gloucestershire and plan a gentle first date in the Cotswolds or by the Severn.
Gloucestershire at a glance
Gloucestershire is one of England's prettiest counties. Gloucester and Cheltenham sit side by side in the middle, with Stroud and Cirencester close by, the Cotswold villages eastward and, over the Severn to the west, the Forest of Dean. Much of the Cotswolds is hilly, which is worth knowing if steep slopes are hard for you, but there are flat towns, gardens and wetlands too, and plenty of places to sit and talk.

Disability dating in Gloucestershire, without the steep bits
Gloucester and Cheltenham are close neighbours with frequent trains and buses between them, and together they make an easy middle ground for much of the county. Disability Dates shows you members close to you first, and you can look into Bristol, Herefordshire, Worcestershire or across into Wales when you want. If you live out in the Cotswolds or the Forest, it is worth saying in your profile how far you can travel, so matches know what is realistic.
Dating for disabled people in Gloucestershire, at an easy pace
A good first date does not need to be ambitious. An hour at Slimbridge, an ice cream by the river at Bourton, a slow lap of Pittville Park: small plans leave room for the conversation. If you live with pain or fatigue, say so in your messages and suggest something short. Most members are glad when someone is clear about what they need, because it lets them be clear too.
Gloucestershire: accessible first-date ideas
Gardens, wetlands and Regency streets with easy ground. Check access with each place first.
WWT Slimbridge
The wetland centre on the Severn is mostly level, with step-free hides and mobility scooters to borrow. Thousands of birds and plenty to talk about.
Westonbirt Arboretum
The national arboretum, where a treetop walkway and accessible paths lead through some of the best autumn colour in the country.
Cheltenham
Regency streets on the flat: stroll the Promenade, sit in the Imperial Gardens or take a lap of Pittville Park, with plenty of independent cafés nearby.
Gloucester Docks
Level quaysides by the water, the Waterways Museum and plenty of places to eat, all in one easy afternoon.
Bourton-on-the-Water
Flatter than most Cotswold villages, with the shallow river running through the middle under low stone bridges.
Gloucester Cathedral
One of the finest in England, with largely accessible cloisters you may recognise from the Harry Potter films.
Getting around Gloucestershire
The M5 runs through the middle of the county and the M4 is close to the south. Trains link Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Kemble, the station for Cirencester, with London, Bristol and the Midlands, and the main stations have step-free access, with staff to assist if you arrange it in advance. Blue Badge spaces are provided in the town centres and at the main sights. Out in the Cotswolds and the Forest, a car is usually the easiest way to get about.
Gloucestershire County Council handles the disabled person's bus pass, which makes off-peak local buses free to use in the county and throughout England. Rural routes can be sparse, so check the timetable before you rely on one for a date.

At 64, I’m at a stage in life where I value meaningful connections. I enjoy going out, exploring nature, and listening to music. I’m seeking a woman who shares similar values and is looking for a serious relationship. If you appreciate authenticity and depth, I’d love to hear from you.
