Good to know

The Scottish Borders: your questions

What would make a good accessible first date in the Borders?

Abbotsford, the Great Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels and the grounds at Floors Castle are all accessible and relaxed.

Is getting around the Borders hard with a disability?

Not between the main towns, which have the railway and buses. The smaller places are easier by car, and Blue Badge spaces are rarely a problem.

Can I meet someone across the border?

Yes. Borders members come first, and Edinburgh, Northumberland just over the border and the rest of the UK are open to you.
